Cream Legbar
The Cream Legbar is a highly sought-after, rare breed known for its beautiful appearance, friendly temperament, and signature sky-blue eggs. Developed in the early 1900s in the U.K., Cream Legbars are an autosexing breed, meaning males and females can be distinguished at hatch—an incredibly helpful trait for customers wanting pullets.
Cream Legbars are active, intelligent birds that love to forage and do well in free-range settings. Hens typically lay 180–220 blue eggs per year, adding unique color and value to any egg basket. Their crest of soft feathers, elegant cream barring, and upright posture give them a charming, distinctive look.
Despite their active nature, Cream Legbars are generally friendly and easy to handle. They thrive in various climates and are known for being alert, hardy birds that integrate well into mixed flocks.
